Before sending a sensitive tip
Practical guidance for contacting KRUNG about sensitive information without overstating channel security.
KRUNG does not currently advertise a dedicated encrypted dropbox. Ordinary email can expose metadata and should not be used for highly sensitive identities or documents.
First contact
For a non-sensitive introduction, email hello@krung.news and ask to arrange a safer channel. Do not include the sensitive material in that first message.
Protect yourself
Consider the device, network, account, document metadata, workplace monitoring, and legal risks relevant to you. KRUNG cannot promise anonymity until a reporter has assessed and agreed to the communication method.
Emergencies
KRUNG is not an emergency service. If someone faces immediate physical danger, use an appropriate trusted emergency or legal-support channel for the location.
