AI-use policy
How KRUNG may use automation and AI while keeping humans responsible for published journalism.
Human responsibility
A human editor remains responsible for every published KRUNG article, correction, headline, and visual claim. AI output is not treated as a source.
Permitted assistance
Tools may assist with transcription, archive search, formatting, translation drafts, tagging, code, or drafting support. Factual claims must still be checked against attributable evidence.
Prohibited uses
KRUNG will not invent quotations or sources, present synthetic documentary imagery as a real event, or publish unverified model output as fact. Editorial review is required before machine-assisted translation is published.
Disclosure
Material synthetic media and substantial AI involvement that readers need to assess the work should be labelled. Ask KRUNG is an automated discovery tool and must cite the content it relies on.
